Light Weight File Manager
Overview:
Light weight Windows style file manager for linux, released under GPL.
Designed for people who use light window managers such as
openbox,fluxbox,enlightenment,etc
Requires only Qt 3 lib, no kde or gnome needed for operation.
Installation:
Refer INSTALL for installation instructions.
Features:
- Browsing filesystem
- Renaming and deleting files and folders
- Copy and Move of files and folders using drag & drop
- Uses rm,mv,cp from fileutils package for file operations
- Toolbar with newdir, cd-up, toggle hidden files and refresh
- Statusbar with proggresbar to indicate on long operations
- Progressbar on copy/move/delete items
- Addressbar that supports auto completion and gray text when
invalid path
Changes to 3rd Edition Takku :
- Working Move/Copy files with non-typical characters in the names
(space,ä,ö,etc )
- Listview shows owner, last modified date and size (up to 4Gb due
limitation of QT3)
- "Theme" support.
You can set up icons of your liking
- Supports filetypes (sort of mime-types)
You can spesify files with sertain extensions to sertain icon.
You can spesify run command for the file type (what to run when
file is double clicked)
- Support Read-only,hidden, locked and execute icon masks
- configuration file for easy access for mountpoint and filetypes

- Perl or TCL scripting interface (makes possible to make scripts for
(un)/mounting, cdburning,unzip,unrar,rar etc)
- Address bar to support mount points
- Dialog to edit file types & accosiations

- Large file support on file size column
- "Open with" functionality
- "run script" on selected file(s)
